Marking where the Pacific Ocean and East Sea meets, Bitou Cape is one of “The Three Capes in Taiwan”, the other two are Sandiao Cape and Fuguei Cape. The best way to enjoy yourself when you visit Bitou Cape is to walk along the footpath. Accompanied by Pandanus odortissimus and wild chrysanthemum, the footpath leads the visitors to splendid view of the waves, the ocean, the rocks and big swirl. The footpath is divided into three trails: coastal footpath, valley line footpath and lighthouse footpath. Visitors can depart from Longdong Bay Park or Bitou pedestrian bridge and have a complete view of the natural landscape. When the sky is clear, one might even see Keelung Isle, Mountain Teapot and Sandiao Cape afar.
