Mount Teapot is located near Jingua Stone Station. The mountain looks like a teapot without a handle, hence the name. However, when you look at the mountain from Jingua Stone, it looks like a lion, so it is also named “Lion Mountain”. The mountain is an important landmark for Jingua Stone. If you are interested to climb to the top of the mountain, you can start from Cyuanji Hall. The footpath will lead you to the top in about one hour. Or, you can walk up the mountain with the steps across the Museum of Mining Industry and the trip will take about 30 minutes. Standing on the top of the mountain, one can enjoy a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean, the surrounding mountains as well as Mount Keelung and Jingua Stone village opposite you.
